"The Recrion conference facility met our needs perfectly. The rooms are bright and airy, which inspired positive thought. Keypad access on the doors allowed us to leave our belongings unattended during breaks and over lunch -its a much better arrangement than having someone responsible for a key! Being in the heart of the historic market town of Stamford was an unexpected benefit. Some of the group elected to take the short walk into town and browse the many shops and café bars over the lunch break. Quite often conference centres are out-of-town and you feel like a 'prisoner' when you are on an away day. We actually came back from our session having achieved what we set out to do and having enjoyed being so close to a vibrant town.
Also, a big 'thank you' to Don and Stella who were available throughout the day to sort out our IT needs. Although the projectors, screen and Internet connection were provided its always useful to have someone around who can trouble-shoot when you forget how to blank the screen using Ctrl F5! In a beautiful Georgian building adjacent to the Town Hall in historic St Mary's Hill, Recrion's meeting rooms are available by the hour, half day or full day and can accommodate from 2 to 25 people. All our meeting rooms offer free internet connection, flipcharts, whiteboards and self service tea and coffee facilities.
Quality catering can be arranged on request or alternatively, the town's wealth of coffee shops and restaurants are literally right around the corner. Recrion's staff will be on hand to help when you need them so you can focus your attention on getting the most out of your meeting.
