PPMP possible career stop sign

All at Recrion are delighted to be able to announce that we will be hosting another Career Skills workshop, which offers Redundancy Support to those affected.

After two successful sessions already this summer, Katherine Wiid and Lindsey Reed will now be holding a third all-day workshop on Friday 14th September at St Johns Innovation Centre, Cambridge.

The workshop will help you if you have recently been made redundant, are at risk of redundancy, or are just returning to work after a long absence.

And, best of all, it is FREE!

The Skills Support for Redundancy (SSR) Scheme provides those based in the East of England with free support training, giving them the best possible chance of getting back into work.

As part of the free Scheme, this interactive workshop will:

  • Boost your confidence by exploring what’s special about you
  • Offer practical illustrations of how you can stand-out from the crowd in Networking and Interviewing situations
  • Illustrate vital skills to present a positive image and feel more at ease in challenging situations
  • Break down barriers that are holding you back
  • Showcase 21st Century ways of successful job searching
  • And so much more!

Attendees of this workshop will go away from the day prepared to take action, initiate contact with key decision makers, seek out networking situations and feel confident about how to present themselves in all-manner of situations.

What attendees of our most recent workshop had to say:

“The course is very helpful and proceeded at a pace which allowed me time to absorb the subject matter. The trainers were very committed and come across as authentic, enthusiastic and empathetic. A good experience.” Heather from Bury St Edmunds

“It was a very interesting session. I had great advice from Katherine before going to my recent interview on how to tell my story to the interviewers and how to structure it. I was then offered the job! Great course that I would recommend to anyone.” Sabrina McCollum

“The course was instructive even if you have already written your CV. I would recommend anyone to attend especially if you lack confidence in taking the next steps to looking for work.” Steve Unwin

“I found the workshop very helpful after 6 months of unemployment. It was great to re-appraise my situation and take on new advice and ideas.” James Cooke from Cambridge
