Career Crisis

There can be few worse feelings than the one you experience when you are at risk of redundancy.

Perhaps the only feeling you can really compare it to is the one after the axe has fallen and you find yourself, through no fault of your own, without a job.

When you are in either of these two situations, it can be difficult to know where to turn to next.

Fortunately, thanks to the Skills Support for Redundancy (SSR) Scheme, help is now at hand.

The SSR Scheme provides you with FREE support training, which will better prepare you for the job market, boost your confidence and help you formulate a plan for the next step of your career.

The scheme is specifically aimed at those in the East of England and is funded by the European Social Fund and Skills Funding Agency.

At Recrion, we are hosting a Career Skills Programme consisting of three workshops in conjunction with the SSR Scheme which will give you the boost you need and help to get you back into work.

These workshops are taking place on:

Monday 18 June (14:00 – 16:00)

Monday 2 July (09:00 – 16:30)

Thursday 9 August (09:00 – 17:00)

at St John's Innovation Centre Cambridge.

“Thank you for your guidance and support at today’s workshop. It has helped me to think differently and to develop my approach and attitude to applying for a job role. I intend to practice and apply the strategies and approaches you have share with me today.”
Erica, Peterborough Regional College

What other Previous Attendees had to say

“Katherine and Lindsey work fantastically as a team with different approaches and styles which complement each other well. The have inspired confidence in me and I feel well equipped to move forward with my future career plans” Penne, Peterborough Regional College

“I would recommend this programme to any individual who found themselves at risk of redundancy. This is not just a process about putting an individual on course for added training; it is about you as a person, to talk to someone independent about what you are going through.” Anthony Burgess, Writtle College
